I am number 9 in the "Top Blogs 24h" thing! How did that happen?!

Must be my lovely new banner.
I sent a post via email in an attempt to make blogging from woik a bit quicker and easier. And is hasn't appeared yet. It's been over an hour now. It's just pants, really.
My sister had a baby yesterday! Wish I'd thought of that when I couldn't think of anything to blog about earlier while procrastinating at woik.
His name is Jake Alan Keith Evans, and for those not-so-eagle-eyed readers, look! His initials spell his first name! That's my sister all over, that is.
He was 9lb 2oz, and she was in labour for *wince* 39 hours. I hope he was worth it!
So, welcome to the world, Jake! Can't wait to meet you this weekend!
P.S. I thought 9lb 2oz was big until this morning, when I got a text from my mate Angie who had her baby on Friday...13lb 3oz! Ouch! Needless to say, she had a caesarean! (lol, I always wanna write "needles" but I'm scared people will think I can't spell).
Today is procrastination day. Last week I managed to procrastinate all the way to Thursday. Which was bad. In the spirit of procrastination, I thought I’d share something which the list that I posted earlier remound me of.
When I worked at Directory Enquiries (in the good old days of 192, not all this 118 bollocks), I took a call from someone looking for the number for RoSPA.
“You know”, she said to me. “The Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Accidents”.
These things are great, aren’t they! Thanks to Pryd via Lynd.

Either, but I normally go for coffee.

What is the worst book you have ever read?
Oh...can't think...A Portrait of Mrs Charbuque...really intriguing with an awful ending.
What is the worst film you have ever seen?
Most disappointing was Texas Chainsaw Massacre...I was really looking forward to it and it was pants. But it's not a bad film I suppose. Ok, I know. Razorblade Smile. Awful vampire porn masquerading as a modern-day take on vampires.
What is the best book you have ever read?
Ugh…either Weaveworld or Imajica by Clive Barker. Depends which one I read last. Life of Pi by Yann Martell was good. As was House of Leaves by Mark Z. Danielewski is mind boggling and strange and scary and bizarre. And I never finished it. And I regret that.
What is the best film you have ever seen?
I always say Heathers, but that was my favourite when I was a teenager. Recently I have enjoyed Night Watch (the Russian one, not the Ewan McGregor one (or the original one of that)) and Constantine. Oh, and Cube is great.

Oh god. I have no clue. Someone with magic. Ooh, maybe Nightcrawler from the X-Men, if he wasn’t blue and German (no offence to any Deutsche readers out there!).
Have you ever had a crush on a famous person, if so who?
Kim Basinger, then Winona Ryder, now…hmmm…used to quite like Tim Vincent and James Marsden but they’re a little bit clean cut, then I went on to Will Mellor, but I’ve gone off him a bit. Still nice to see him semi-naked in the (constant) re-runs of Two Pints. Quite like Jake Gyllenhaal but I couldn’t say why. And I haven’t seen Brokeback Mountain yet, so it’s not because of that. Adam won’t take me to see it in case I start dry humping his leg.

I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.
I think number 7 is the worst, but number 6 is pretty bad too. Actually they are all rather grim. *Shudder*
Suddenly my dodgy gnocchi and Paddy's chicken glue aren't so bad.
Just thought I'd let you all know. I have been making little commenty things every now and then, but couldn't be arsed to make an actual real post!
