Menomama posted a youtube video here of a really cool optical illusion. It works by tricking the brain into thinking something concave (sticking in) is convex (sticking out).

I did a quick search on Google et voila! My own little creepy 3D dragon!

You have to close one eye, and look at its eyes. It works better if it's at eye level, not down on the table or something.

Here are the templates (all the same, just different colours), just print em out and follow the instructions.

Max does. He'll just casually knock something onto the floor, sniff it, bat it about a bit with his paw, and when I get up to retrieve it, he picks it up in his mouth and legs it! Little bugger.

He then leaves it under the table or something and comes back for something else. What is he doing? Stealing supplies for a military coup?

I mean, what does a cat need a nail file for anyway?

Stargate Atlantis. Last week. They killed off one of the main cast.

Paddy nearly cried. Anyway, I found a website dedicated to getting him re-instated. They bring people back from the dead all the time in Stargate, so it should be easy enough. The website is www.savecarsonbeckett.com and there is a banner at the top of my blog which takes you to the same site.

Illness, laziness and raininess conspired to ensure we did not go up the mountain today.

I didn't get out of bed til 3, despite Paddy's best efforts. I was awake for ages before, and even got dressed (well, trackie bottoms and Paddy's bathrobe) but got back into bed.

Paddy made a lovely chicken dinner too. I tried, but could hardley eat any. Or is it hardly. And he's not feeling well. And now he's had to go out to drop a foster kid home.

I'll go make him a coffee for when he gets back.

It's raining. Again. Glad we live on a mountain, no chance of flooding here! Maybe take them puppies up the mountain tomorrow, chuck em in the river. Depends on the level of illness. And also laziness and raininess.

A few weeks back, the Padster and I had a day out in Swansea. Here are some pictures we took.

We went here today:

It was a bit cold and windy, but beautiful all the same. We went to Rhossili to have something to eat (with a fantastic view) before coming home. Lovely afternoon!

I might have blogged something along these lines before, but I can't find it if I have.

Flickr is chuffin' fantastic.

In case you dont know what Flickr is, I shall tell you. It's basically a photo sharing site. You upload photos, give them titles and descriptions and even tags, like on blog, so people can find them. You can comment on them, just like blog. My personal favourite bit is that you can geotag them, which means giving them a map reference, and then they are displayed on a map of the world! It's dead easy, you just drag the pics onto the map where you want them to be tagged.

You can make things friends only, so that only people you know can see your pics (useful if you geotag pics taken at home), and best of all, this is all free!

There are loads of other features, like the little animation thing on the right hand side of my blog, at the top. Go and explore!

There is a limit of 100mb per month for the free account, but that's loads of pics in jpg format. There are a few other limitations, but nothing awful. I only have a free account and I cope!
