Darn cat...

by bloglikesit @ 25/02/2007 - 23:51:00

Does anyone else's cat pinch random things and run away with them?

Max does. He'll just casually knock something onto the floor, sniff it, bat it about a bit with his paw, and when I get up to retrieve it, he picks it up in his mouth and legs it! Little bugger.

He then leaves it under the table or something and comes back for something else. What is he doing? Stealing supplies for a military coup?

I mean, what does a cat need a nail file for anyway?

I haven't got a cat but maybe yours is vain and wants to make himself beautiful for the lady cats. Well it's either that or he's planning to take over the world although what use a nail file would be I don't know.

Well, it's quite pointy at one end. A weapon, maybe?

But then, what would he want a used snotty tissue for?

oooh yes a weapon! To infect his enemies with a cold? Goodness knows! Notice you blogged about Rhossili, it's a long way down those cliffs! lol

Hmm I'm not convinced, I would need to have a look at your memory just to make sure it was gone. These comments are taking a turn for the worse. I'm now contemplating looking at your brain!

It's not much to look at. It fell out the other day, and my cat ran off with it.

lol Did you manage to get it back? He's probably performed tests on it to see how it works, this is obviously so he can outwit you. Have you noticed anything different about it(your brain)?

A slight tunary aroma. I think he licked it.

My cat grabbed a slice of bread once and ran off with it. Also - a strand of spaghetti (just the one)

Once he grabbed my mate's gerbil off the coffee table, but that was a bit more understandable. You should have seen the restraint when everyone shouted at him hahahahahaha he looked sooo feckin guilty and put it down in slow motion - loathing us.

He used to move the bitsa bread I put out for the birds into the long grass and hide there. He was orange so he needed all the help he could get really!

LOL Orange.

Get over it, Subs, he was GINGER. You had a GINGER cat. I know the stigma is terrible, but there you go.

Yes *ashamed* it's true, I had a *hangs head* ginger cat...

The famous 'fancy a shag' guy (an ex) lived in a shared house full of vegan hippies (not hippies cos they're vegan - just happen to be both) - their adopted cat went out one afternoon and came back with a packet of veggie burgers - seriously.

He laid them down and meowed, like - I'm too short to use the cooker, can you help? :DD

Our little kitty likes pens. We used to have a cat that would eat people food regularly. Saw him jump up on the counter and put a cook potato between his teeth and then run for the hills.

Little buggers, aren't they. Our cats find it fascinating when we write with pens. Must be the way the end wobbles about.

Hi Brad,

My cats love pens, one of them is especially naughty.

When I pull the sofa out I fins all sorts of stuff under it.

Last night I came in about 1.30 after working late and headed straight for bed only to find I had a new addition to the household in my bedroom, a small field mouse being played with by said naughty cat.

Too tired to do much about it I wrapped it in a tissue and lobbed it out of the window. It was still warm!

Had a squirrel delivered through the cat flap into the kitchen once as well.

LOL did you have to sign for it?

I think our two are too busy fighting to catch anything. The second one of them crouches to pounce, the other one dive-bombs his head.
